Our Library of Things is run and managed by independant volunteers. All income we receive will go towards buying and maintaining tools for us all to use.
Our first Library of Things is at Chellaston library, kindly offered by Derby City Council:
Chellaston Library, Barley Croft, Chellaston, Derby, DE73 6TU
We are open from Thursday 23 July between 12:00 and 14:00
A library of things… where people can borrow tools and other household items, similar to borrowing a book from a library
People from our local communities are looking for all sorts of things, we don't all need to own things we might only use every so often.
Sharing things helps each other out. It helps reduce our carbon footprint, safeguarding our wonderful shared world for future generations.
We can email you with our news, including information about how the Library of Things works, social events, how to get involved, volunteer days.
Use the form to sign up to our emails and we will keep you in touch.
